These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sprigge, including our mobile application, website, Smart Import, AI-powered recipe features, paid features, and related online services (together, "Sprigge" or the "Service").
By using Sprigge, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Who we are

2. Relationship with Apple's Standard EULA
If you download Sprigge from the Apple App Store, the Sprigge app is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA"), unless a separate custom EULA is provided in App Store Connect.
These Terms are additional terms that govern Sprigge's services, including Smart Import, AI features, online functionality, paid features, usage limits, user content, and abuse prevention. These Terms do not replace Apple's Standard EULA for the license to the app itself.
3. No Sprigge account
Sprigge currently does not require a Sprigge account.
Some functionality may use device-based identifiers, purchase-related identifiers, or service-generated identifiers to provide features such as usage limits, purchase restoration, support, analytics, service security, and abuse prevention.
You agree to use Sprigge only for lawful, personal, and non-abusive purposes.
4. Purchases
Sprigge may offer paid features or other in-app purchases.
For purchases made through the Apple App Store, billing, purchase restoration, and refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's terms and App Store policies.
Unless required by law or handled otherwise by Apple, payments are non-refundable.
5. AI processing and recipe features
Sprigge may allow you to import, extract, generate, refine, organize, or transform recipe-related content using automated tools and AI systems.
When you use Smart Import, recipe generation, recipe refinement, or similar AI-powered features, the link, text, photo, screenshot, recipe content, or other material you provide may be sent to our backend and to external AI service providers so Sprigge can process it.
AI-generated or AI-assisted output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your needs. You are responsible for reviewing recipes, ingredients, measurements, allergens, cooking times, temperatures, storage instructions, and food safety information before relying on them.
Sprigge is not medical, dietary, nutritional, allergy, or food safety advice. If you have allergies, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or other health-related concerns, consult a qualified professional and independently verify all recipe information.
6. User content
You may submit, save, import, edit, or create content in Sprigge, including recipes, notes, images, links, text, screenshots, and other materials ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content. By using Sprigge, you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and use your User Content only as needed to operate, provide, secure, support, and improve the Service.
You are responsible for the User Content you provide and for making sure you have the rights needed to use it with Sprigge.
7. Third-party content, links, and user-directed imports
Sprigge may help you import or organize recipe-related content from links, webpages, posts, text, images, screenshots, or other materials that you choose to provide.
For some links, Sprigge may open the source page or post in an in-app viewer. If you choose to tap Import, Sprigge may extract recipe-related text and standard page metadata from that page or post and use it to help create a structured recipe.
Sprigge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially integrated with any third-party website, app, social platform, or service unless we expressly state otherwise.
You are responsible for making sure that you have the rights and permissions needed to use any content you provide to Sprigge, including content from third-party websites, apps, social platforms, or services.
Sprigge does not claim ownership of third-party recipes, posts, videos, images, captions, or other materials.
Sprigge does not bypass paywalls, logins, technical restrictions, access controls, robots restrictions, digital rights management, or other protections. Sprigge does not provide bulk scraping, crawling, media downloading, or automated collection of third-party content.
If a page, post, or service cannot be imported, you may add the recipe manually, paste text that you are permitted to use, or use another supported import method.
8. Fair use, limits, and abuse prevention
To protect the quality, security, and availability of Sprigge, we may apply usage limits, rate limits, import limits, storage limits, or other technical restrictions.
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, without limitation:
- using automated scripts, bots, scraping tools, or bulk import systems outside functionality we provide;
- attempting to bypass limits, security controls, payment controls, or access restrictions;
- overloading, disrupting, reverse engineering, or interfering with the Service;
- using Sprigge to infringe intellectual property rights or violate third-party terms;
- uploading harmful, unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or malicious content;
- reselling, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting the Service without our permission.
We may throttle, limit, block, remove, or restrict access to online features if we reasonably believe usage is abusive, excessive, unlawful, harmful, or outside normal personal use.

10. Intellectual property
Sprigge, including its software, design, branding, logos, features, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, source code, systems, or proprietary technology except for the limited right to use the Service as permitted by these Terms and, where applicable, Apple's Standard EULA.
11. Service availability and changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Sprigge at any time. We may also change feature availability, usage limits, AI providers, import behavior, or supported platforms.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12. Termination
You may stop using Sprigge at any time.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access to online features if you violate these Terms, create risk or liability, misuse the Service, or use Sprigge in a way that harms users, third parties, or the Service.
13. Disclaimers
Sprigge is provided "as is" and "as available."
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that recipes, imports, AI outputs, nutritional information, cooking instructions, or other content will be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for your circumstances.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, by email, or by posting an updated version on our website.
The updated Terms will apply from the effective date shown at the top of the page. Your continued use of Sprigge after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
